Bret A. Lambdin is the owner of Flying L Stable in Mount Dora, Florida. He is a third-generation horseman specializing in Natural Horsemanship Training and teaching riders to connect with their horse. Bret also conducts clinics on Round Pen & Ground Work, Obstacles, and Riding Basics for riders who wish to advance their skills.

Bret Lambdin is a member of the Mustang Heritage Foundation and is a TIP trainer dedicated to placing gentled mustangs into homes. In 2017 Bret competed in the Jacksonville Mustang Makeover with L.E.O.’s Pride, placing third in the Trail Class and fifth overall. Because of this outstanding performance he received an invitation and was accepted to compete in the 2018 Mustang Magic.  Unfortunately, due to the extensive damage done to the Flying L Stable from Hurricane Irma, he regrettably had to cancel.

Bret is a retired police officer who puts his years of experience to use by providing Trail Safety Clinics.  These clinics teach recognition and appropriate legal response to perceived threats and utilizing your horse to keep safe.

Bret competes regularly in EXCA races and Obstacle Challenges put on by the Southern Obstacle Challenge Association (SOCA).

Julie Murphy began racing with EXCA in 2011 and continued through 2015. She attended a Craig Cameron Horsemanship Clinic in 2014 in Pontotoc, MS and two Chris Cox Horsemanship Clinics in Mineral Wells, Texas.  Locally, Julie is the past president of the Itawamba Horse Association in Itawamba County, Mississippi and is an avid trail rider with her husband, Billy.

Julie began preparing to become a certified EXCA judge and reached her goal in 2016.
